Union 206 Studio offers photographers, videographers, and production companies a professional, all-inclusive venue. We can accommodate shoots ranging from simple headshots to complex, multi-day productions. Members get half-price rentals.

Three Studios. Infinite Looks.
We have a large selection of furniture and props in a variety of styles. We’ve worked hard to make sure you’ll have everything you need to make your shoot is a success. As an all-inclusive rental, the only things you’ll pay extra for are seamless paper (black, white, and gray), and motorcyles. Yes, we have indoor motorcycles! Choose between a Ducati Monster or our vintage Honda CB350.

In 2010, Charles Butler started Union 206 Studio to meet the needs of the DMV’s photography community. “Back then, hourly rental studios were few and far between, and most commercial-grade studios rented for half-day and full days only. I felt this fee structure was out of reach for many photographers. I saw the need for an affordable hourly rental studio where anyone with a camera and a dream could bring their artistic vision to life.
I’ve had the privilege of witnessing our community evolve from a small group of photographers into a vibrant network of visual artists. My vision was to provide a space where creatives could create, whether a professional with clients or a hobbyist with passion. I wanted a studio where the focus was on the community while keeping the cost as low as possible. It’s a testament to the power of our community and the hard work of many that Union 206 has grown into the largest studio of its kind in the area.”

Although you can shoot as a member or non-member at our studio, there are a lot of perks that make it a no-brainer to apply, including 50% off the non-member rate, 25% off of our events and workshops, full access to one of the best photo and video communities in the area, and more!
Starting a membership with us could save you hundreds of dollars throughout the year. Membership is an annual commitment.
Our Studio In Images
All studios come fully equipped with strobes and gear, and each studio offers a variety of shooting spaces. We provide four Godox strobes per studio, a variety of modifiers, wireless flash triggers, C-stands, booms, and more.

Local Models
We know it can be difficult to find quality models to collaborate with on your photo and video projects. We’ve carefully selected a group of local models with a variety of shooing genres, looks, and rates to fit any concept. Contact the models directly for availability and booking.
Talent Program
Union 206’s Talent Program is a collective comprised of local professional models and stylists who have been vetted by the studio. We only select those who are serious about mastering their craft, and who are punctual, reliable, and arrive prepared. Throughout our selection process we look for a variety of genres, rate ranges, and skill sets.
There is no charge for models and stylists to apply.
